Davis Immigration Law Office would like to congratulate our Articling Student, Tyler Koshowski, on being elected as the Law Society of Manitoba’s Student Bencher for 2021-2022.
Each year, all Articling Students in Manitoba elect one student to represent them as the Student Bencher. The Law Society of Manitoba is the independent regular of the legal profession in Manitoba, and the Benchers act as the Society’s board of directors. The duties of the Student Bencher include attendance of meetings of the Benchers, meetings of the Admissions and Education Committee, and the elected candidate bears the responsibility of being a full voting member of the Benchers. They are expected to act in the public interest, with complete personal independence, discretion and responsibility.
