Pathway to Permanent Residency for Essential Temporary Workers and International Grads

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced a new program for more than 90,000 essential workers and international graduates who are actively contributing to Canada’s economy now have an innovative pathway to permanent residence.

This program is specifically available to workers already in Canada who possess the skills and experience required to fight the pandemic and support economic recovery.

Preference will be given to those who work in health-care or other pre-approved essential occupations. Applications will be accepted starting May 6, 2021. This program will be open until November 5, 2021 or when limits have been reached.
